This homeowner came to Sun Boss Rooms and Baths in search of a full tub to shower conversion. This involves removing the old tub and shower and installing a brand new shower without a tub. The homeowner unfortunately has had to deal with mold behind their shower walls multiple times and decided to look for a more permanent solution. This shower renovation replaced all of their old shower surrounds with antimicrobial water sealed acrylic wall surrounds that cover the entire walls and ceiling of the shower. Not only do these wall surrounds look beautiful, but they are also fully water sealed and do not need to be resealed every six months like normal tile. The homeowner decided to get rid of their bathtub to make it easier to step in and out of the shower. This was an easy decision because the homeowner never filled the tub up, they only used the shower. Removing the tub also makes the shower bigger than it would be with it still there. The homeowner also decided to add in a grab bar for added stability turning this old tub and shower combo into a brand new beautiful safety shower that is mold free and worry free.
