This homeowner located in Hemet, California had a near slip while taking a shower and decided that they wanted to upgrade their shower to be safer and more secure. After their near slip, the homeowner attached a detachable grab bar handle to their shower wall, but they never trusted that it would bear their weight fully.
The homeowner heard about Sun Boss Rooms and Baths and our 75 years of service to the people of the Inland Empire and decided to set up a free in-home design appointment with one of our design specialists. Together, they designed a beautiful walk in shower with multiple weight bearing grab bars and a built in shower seat. Both of these stylish features add functionality and also decrease the risk of slipping and falling in the shower. We also replaced the homeowners old shower pan for a new textured shower pan to reduce the risk of slipping even more. Now that our homeowner’s safety needs were taken care of they were able to design the aesthetics of the shower of their dreams. They decided on a beautiful groutless acrylic tile wall surround and an elegant curved glass sliding door. The grout free tile of the wall surrounds gives the appearance of natural stone tile without the risk of water leaking through the porous grout lines. Another benefit of our grout free acrylic tile wall surrounds is that it does not require any resealing unlike its traditional counterpart. Visually, the results speak for themselves.
